About Providence Renaissance News Providence
Who we are, who owns this station, and how our newsroom works.
Providence Renaissance News Providence is a local news station serving Providence County and the metro Providence area — live newscasts, weather, traffic, investigations and sports, published first on this website and carried on the T.W.A. App. Our promise is in the slogan: Live. Local. Always On.
Ownership
Providence Renaissance News Providence is owned and operated by T.W.A.. Providence Renaissance News Providence stands on its own as an independent local news station: local news, reported straight, for the city it calls home.
What we cover
Local news across Providence neighborhoods, Rhode Island news that lands at home, politics from City Hall to the Capitol, weather and traffic around the clock, investigations that follow the records and the money, and the sports this city lives for — including the Providence Bruins and Friday night high school football.
How we work
Stories on this site are reported and written by the Providence Renaissance News newsroom. Every story carries a byline and a publication time, and when we get something wrong we fix it in the open — see our Corrections Policy. The people and desks behind the coverage are listed on our Newsroom page.
